Forward-deployed in industrial & manufacturing

Your best technician’s knowledge, on every shift.

Our engineers build AI into maintenance, quality, quoting, and supplier follow-up, working from the manuals, work orders, and historian data you already keep. Access to operations technology is read-only, and nothing is committed without a person’s approval.

Where the hours go

  • Knowledge retiring with people
  • Quality records written late
  • Quotes queued behind engineering
  • Expediting by inbox

What a pod builds

  • Maintenance knowledge assistant
  • Failure-signal triage
  • NCR, CAPA, and 8D drafts
  • Vision inspection pilots

What gets measured

  • Overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
  • MTBF and MTTR
  • First-pass yield and scrap rate
  • CAPA cycle time

What is different here

A plant runs two kinds of systems: business systems that can absorb a wrong draft, and control systems that cannot. We keep AI on the business side, reading historians and MES through the conduits your ISA/IEC 62443 zone model allows, and writing only drafts to the CMMS, ERP, and QMS. Safety procedures, export-controlled drawings, and controlled documents set the rest of the rules.

I / Where the hours go

What we look for first.

  • Knowledge retiring with people

The fix for a recurring fault lives in a veteran’s memory, a scanned OEM manual, or a work order closed with one word. Newer technicians hunt for it at the machine.

  • Quality records written late

NCRs, CAPAs, and 8D reports are written days after the event from scattered notes and photos, so root-cause work becomes reconstruction and corrective actions stall in review.

  • Quotes queued behind engineering

Each RFQ waits for an estimator to read the drawing, find similar past jobs, and price routing and material by hand. Late quotes lose work the plant could have won.

  • Expediting by inbox

Buyers and planners chase supplier confirmations and late shipments by email and phone, then rebuild the schedule in a spreadsheet when material arrives late or a machine goes down.

II / What we build

Systems, not slideware.

  • Maintenance knowledge assistant

Answers technicians’ questions from OEM manuals, past work orders, and approved procedures, citing the page and the job, and suggests the right spare part from a nameplate photo and your item master.

  • Failure-signal triage

Where historian data exists, watches vibration, temperature, motor current, and cycle time for the patterns that preceded past failures, and opens a draft work order for a planner, never a command to the machine.

  • NCR, CAPA, and 8D drafts

Drafts nonconformance reports, CAPAs, and 8D reports from inspection data, photos, and line notes, links similar past failures, and leaves root cause and disposition to the quality engineer.

  • Vision inspection pilots

Where cameras and labeled defect images exist or can be added, a vision model at one station flags suspect parts for an inspector, after we size the data and edge hardware it needs.

  • RFQ and quote drafts

Reads drawings and specifications, finds similar past jobs, and drafts routing, material, and price for the estimator to adjust and approve, with each assumption listed beside the number.

  • Supplier follow-up desk

Chases purchase-order confirmations and late shipments by email, reads supplier replies into proposed ERP promise dates for a buyer to accept, and flags shortages against MRP before they stop a line.

  • Schedule change support

When orders, forecasts, materials, or line status change, proposes resequenced schedules priced in changeovers, overtime, energy, and margin by order. The planner decides which to commit.

  • Field service briefs and reports

Gives field technicians the asset’s service history, likely causes, and the right procedure on site, then drafts the service report and parts list from their notes for the technician to confirm.

III / A first vintage

One plant’s maintenance knowledge

First production deployment, Six to ten weeks

A pod indexes OEM manuals, PM procedures, and the work-order history in your CMMS for critical assets, puts the assistant on technicians’ tablets on every shift, and reviews its answers weekly with your reliability engineer before adding assets.

Judged by

Mean time to repair on covered assets, minutes spent finding the right procedure, and repeat work orders, measured from the baseline the Survey set.

An illustration of a first deployment, not a description of a past client.

IV / What we measure

Baselined before we build.

  • Overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
  • MTBF and MTTR
  • First-pass yield and scrap rate
  • CAPA cycle time
  • RFQ-to-quote turnaround
  • Line hours lost to material shortages
  • First-time fix rate

Set during the Survey and reported every season after.

V / Guardrails

Where people stay in control.

  • Read-only to the plant floor

Historian and MES data come to AI from a replica or read-only interface your OT team approves, and no credential we hold can write to a PLC, a setpoint, or a recipe.

  • Safety stays with qualified people

AI may draft a job hazard analysis or a lockout/tagout procedure under OSHA 1910.147, but a qualified person verifies it at the equipment and approves it. Nothing the system says overrides a stop or a permit.

  • Export-controlled data stays put

Drawings and specifications controlled under ITAR or the EAR are processed only in environments your export-compliance plan approves, with access limited to authorized persons and no model endpoint outside that boundary.

  • Controlled documents stay controlled

Procedures, work instructions, and quality records follow your ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100 document control: drafts are versioned, routed, and released only by their owner, with the AI’s sources on file.
