Forward-deployed in consumer & retail

Peak-season volume, handled with off-season care.

We build AI into the commerce stack you already run, across product content, customer service, planning, and marketplace operations, so your team keeps pace with the catalog and the calendar without publishing a claim it cannot back.

Where the hours go

  • Content behind the launch
  • The same questions, daily
  • Planning in workbooks
  • Listings that drift

What a pod builds

  • Product content studio
  • Customer service agent
  • Demand and replenishment
  • Assortment and markdown analysis

What gets measured

  • Days from new SKU to live listing, by channel
  • Listing errors found after publication
  • Contacts per order and first-contact resolution
  • Forecast accuracy (WAPE) and in-stock rate

What is different here

Consumer businesses run on volume (often thousands of SKUs across a storefront, marketplaces, and stores) and on margins that leave little room for rework. Every generated description, price, and reply is a representation the FTC Act reaches, and reviews now have a federal rule of their own. The systems of record rarely agree, so accuracy starts with reconciling the commerce platform, the ERP, and each marketplace account.

I / Where the hours go

What we look for first.

  • Content behind the launch

New products wait on titles, attributes, and copy, and every channel (your site, Amazon, Google) wants the same facts in a different shape.

  • The same questions, daily

Agents answer order-status, return, and sizing questions by hand, one ticket at a time, while the contacts that need judgment wait behind them in the queue.

  • Planning in workbooks

Forecasts, buys, and markdowns live in spreadsheets refreshed by hand from the ERP, so stockouts and overbuys surface after they have cost margin.

  • Listings that drift

Marketplace listings are suppressed or quietly rewritten by other contributors, and account-health warnings sit in an inbox nobody owns until sales fall.

II / What we build

Systems, not slideware.

  • Product content studio

Drafts titles, attributes, and alt text from your PIM and spec sheets, checks each claim against its source and each feed against channel rules, and holds every page for a merchandiser’s approval.

  • Customer service agent

Answers order, return, and sizing questions in Gorgias or Zendesk, and routes refunds above your limit and every injury or hazard report to a person. An injury report can start the CPSC’s 24-hour reporting clock.

  • Demand and replenishment

Forecasts demand by SKU, location, and channel, and drafts purchase orders and transfers for a planner to adjust and approve in NetSuite or RELEX.

  • Assortment and markdown analysis

Reads sell-through, margin, and returns by SKU to flag what to reorder, cut, or mark down, and measures each promotion’s lift against its margin cost.

  • Marketplace operations

Watches Amazon Seller Central for suppressed listings, contributor edits, and account-health notices, and drafts each fix or appeal for your marketplace manager to send.

  • Returns and fraud review

Codes return reasons from comments and photos, flags serial returners and repeat item-not-received claims, and assembles chargeback evidence. A person decides every refusal and block.

  • Voice-of-customer synthesis

Groups reviews, tickets, and surveys from Yotpo, Bazaarvoice, and your help desk by product and defect for a weekly quality brief, and drafts review replies for approval.

  • Store associate assistant

Answers associates’ questions on policy, procedure, and product from your manuals and planograms, and cites the page so a manager can check the answer.

III / A first vintage

Product content with claim checks

First production deployment, Six to ten weeks

A pod connects the content studio to your PIM, storefront, and Amazon Seller Central, calibrates it on a season of approved listings and your claims policy, and runs it beside merchandisers for three weeks before it drafts the first pass.

Judged by

Days from new SKU to live listing, errors found after publication, and merchandiser edit time per page, all tracked by channel against the Survey’s first readings.

An illustration of a first deployment, not a description of a past client.

IV / What we measure

Baselined before we build.

  • Days from new SKU to live listing, by channel
  • Listing errors found after publication
  • Contacts per order and first-contact resolution
  • Forecast accuracy (WAPE) and in-stock rate
  • Sell-through, weeks of supply, and markdown rate
  • Order defect rate and suppressed listings
  • Return rate by reason and chargeback win rate

Set during the Survey and reported every season after.

V / Guardrails

Where people stay in control.

  • Real reviews only

We design to the FTC’s rule on consumer reviews and testimonials (16 CFR Part 465, in force since October 2024): nothing we build writes, buys, or suppresses a review, or invents a customer.

  • Claims you can substantiate

Every product and price claim traces to a spec sheet, test, or price record, and “was” prices follow the FTC’s Guides Against Deceptive Pricing (16 CFR Part 233).

  • Accessible as written

Generated alt text, copy, and emails are checked against WCAG 2.2 AA, and against the European Accessibility Act wherever you sell to EU consumers.

  • Card and shopper data

Models never see full card numbers, so AI stays outside your PCI DSS v4.0.1 cardholder data environment. Opt-outs under CCPA/CPRA (including Global Privacy Control signals) and deletion requests carry through to prompts, logs, and indexes.
